about Alyssa
Everybody is doing the best they can with what they have.
Establishing deep, meaningful connections is an essential part of what it means to be human, and when a relationship becomes strained or stressed it reverberates into other areas of life. When you’re grappling with life transitions or redefining relationship goals, the journey can feel daunting - you don’t need to traverse those paths alone. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where we will explore your unique identities and build intentional, meaningful relationships with yourself and with others.
Whether you're struggling with relational or sexual issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply seeking personal growth, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, to empower you to develop coping skills, enhance self-awareness, and build healthier relationships. I work closely with you not just to alleviate symptoms, but to foster lasting transformation and empower you to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. In addition, II have a clinical interest and passion in supporting clients with ethical non-monogamy, BDSM/kink, and other non-traditional lifestyles,
My personal ethos is, “everybody is doing the best they can with what they have.” This means embracing individuals and relationships where they are and honoring their stories. In our work together, we will explore your history, uncover patterns, and highlight strengths to facilitate meaningful change.
While in college, my fascination with human relationships sparked a desire to help individuals and couples navigate their journey to fulfillment. After graduation, I immersed myself in diverse life experiences in Denver, gaining invaluable insights about myself and my passion for therapeutic work. Now, with a decade of life's wisdom under my belt, I'm committed to supporting relationships of all kinds with patience, an open mind, and a deep respect for each individual's unique path.
Outside of my work, I enjoy gardening, weightlifting, cooking for friends and family, and getting out and about for anything from coffee on a sunny patio to live music up at Red Rocks. After a long day it’s not uncommon to find me relaxing on my couch surrounded by my three small dogs and watching our favorite comfort shows.
